Imagine the old quaker oats box that your first pinhole camera was made with. The curved surface of the picture plane created an amazing wide-angle with interesting distortions.

Pinhole will have 15 large format barrel pinhole cameras for use on the playa this year. We have ordered even more photographic mural paper, so we will be giving away 150+ 40" x 30" paper negatives.

We are using our camps' moving truck for the darkroom this year.

If you would like to make your own pinhole camera, our source for the barrels is Bags and Barrels, located in Hayward, CA.

We are using photographic mural paper that is cut from a roll. If you would like to order your own paper from FreeStyle, cut it down to 40" x 30" to fit our barrels.
